Kendra Leigh Castle is the author of RENEGADE ANGEL, a September 2010 release from Nocturne about an exiled fallen angel who must learn to protect instead of destroy if he wants to survive. She is also the author of the acclaimed MacInnes Werewolves trilogy (Sourcebooks Casablanca), and is hard at work not only on her next Nocturne, but on a new series beginning next summer with Grand Central Publishing, about the passions and intrigues of the ancient vampire dynasties that rule the darkness. She brings her love of all things spooky and steamy to her writing, and firmly believes that even the wickedest creatures of the night deserve happily ever afters. Probably because they're the most fun to write about!
After being raised in the far and frozen reaches of New York's North Country, Kendra married a handsome young Navy fighter pilot and proceeded to move all over the country, adding kids and pets along the way. She now lives in Maryland with her husband, three children, a geriatric Pekingese named Daisy, an enormous Newfoundland puppy named Chewie, and her obnoxious Siberian cat, Bruno. She can usually be found curled up with her laptop and yet another cup of coffee, wearing a variety of exceedingly ugly (and very comfortable) pajamas.
